StreamExtensionsEncrypt(Stream, Stream, String, Byte) Method
Encrypts a
source stream by the
Aes algorithm using the provided
password and a randomly generated
salt,
and writes the encrypted result to the
destination stream. Both streams remain open after the encryption is done.

- The source stream to encrypt.
- destination Stream
- The destination stream to write the encrypted data to.
- password String
- Password of encryption.
- salt Byte
- When this method returns, contains the randomly generated salt bytes used to derive the key and initialization vector bytes. This parameter is passed uninitialized.
In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type
